Hello Beavers, with your camp approaching this week your task is to learn some campfire songs, prepare for your “hike” and also learn some first aid skills. We have selected two songs, Alice the camel and Campfire’s burning, for you to learn but feel free to learn others.

Think about where you want to walk when you go on the hike on Saturday and how you will get there? What will you take with you to stay warm, dry and safe? Have a chat with your adult and then gather your things – send us a photo! Suggestions are:
Things to put in day sack:
Water bottle
Waterproof coat
Jumper
Suncream/sunhat
Map
Remember to wear shoes that are comfortable to walk in and suitable for the weather i.e. hiking boots/boots/trainers
First aid – do you know what to do if someone has an accident on your hike?
Use the pack provided by the Ambulance Service to learn what to do.
